He enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with his two sons, his grandchildren and golf with his friends. A few days before Christmas, John Brumby Boruk passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer at the Santa Clara hospital where he was born 58 years ago. He also leaves behind his father-in-law Ken and his wife, Donna Miller, his brother-in-law Jay Miller, his aunt, Pat Ruppenthal, and many cousins, nephews and one niece. In his younger years, he hung out at Helen Wells Playground, played basketball (Bruins), baseball, won All-City Long-jump, and always rooted for Giants, 49ers, and Warriors! Brentwood, CA. She is survived by her husband Charles, sister Flora, brother Fred, daughter Frances (and son-in-law David Hoge), as well as her grandchildren AnnaBella and Charlie and many beloved nieces and nephews. Barbara Jean Mills Her last child, a second son, was born before her 20th birthday. She was raised in Des Plaines, IL, and graduated from St. Scholastica High School in Rogers Park area of Chicago and then went on to become a Registered Nurse l. She worked first at Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines. Pleasanton, California. John Milton Peterson was a man so remarkable that he actually had not one, but three birthdays. A smart man, a curious man, and a kind man. She loved family gatherings and adventures with her grandkids to places like the San Francisco Zoo, or her favorite seafood joint in San Francisco, Scoma's. Charming and clever, he lit up any room he entered. Pat was the first Executive Director of the Pleasanton Downtown Association and pioneered programs that continue to this day such as the Saturday Farmers' Market and Friday Concerts in the Park. Livermore, CA. She remained employed there for 31 years. Carlo E. Vecchiarelli Jr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 12th, 2022 after a short but strong battle with cancer, he was 79 years old.
