Its dream-like atmosphere hypnotizes and delivers an unexpectedly complex story from a relatively simple premise - a man that debunks mind control techniques is contacted by parents trying to get their daughter leave a cult. It was a pretty ingenious way to tell the story and I thought it worked because the character development and writing is really strong.
